Al-Assad confers with Barazani. On Developments

President Bashar Al-Assad on Monday received Leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Iraq Massoud Barazani and the accompanying delegation on the current situations on the Iraqi scene and the necessity of commitment to the Iraqi national unity until maintaining security, stability, sovereignty and ending the occupation.

President al-Assad stressed "Syria's standing by the Iraqi people and putting all available capabilities to ease their suffering."
