Morocco posed to quasi-lastingly eradicate illiteracy by 2015, minister

Morocco is posed to quasi-lastingly eradicate illiteracy by the year 2015, ensure all children are schooled and no child drops out by 2010, Secretary of State in charge of literacy and non-formal education, Anis Birou said.

Birou said his department envisages to reduce the overall illiteracy rate to 20 percent by 2010 and to 10 percent among the active population.
