Originally published

The Moroccan center on information, documentation and studies on Women was dedicated in Rabat on Sunday in the presence of Mrs Zoulikha Nasri, adviser to King Mohammed VI, and Mrs Yasmina Baddou, secretary of state in charge of family, children and disabled people.

The center, that cost 724.000 Euro, will collect and process population data and statistics relating to women, conduct studies and reflection works on women, as well as carry out training programs to the benefit of women.

The CMIDEF will also work to support public decision-making, coordinate the whole of national and local actions taken in favour of women and create synergies of the civil society actors.

The institution was set up by means of a partnership between the state secretariat and the European Commission as part of the project on human development and social integration of the MENA program.
