Arab ambassadors in Spain to build to the Arab House in Madrid

Originally published

Arab ambassadors accredited to Spain on Thursday announced approval to build the Arab House in Madrid as to be a window of the Arab culture and civilization in the Spanish capital.

During a lunch banquet made by Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos, the Arab ambassadors underlined the significance of establishing the just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East and the building of the independent Palestinian state.

Moratinos clarified the Arab House would be "a facade that Arabs can expose their history and culture through." He appealed to the Arab states representative to manage such a move according to what is followed in running the American House by Latin American countries.

Madrid is currently hosting the American House while Barcelona is to give hospitality to the Asian House next Spring.
