Bomb attack against Moroccan family car in Corsica
A car belonging to a Moroccan family in Ghisonaccia (Corsica) was subject to a foiled bomb attack Sunday night, said sources close to the investigation.
A home-made bomb, put inside a fire extinguisher under the car, exploded without causing any damages, said the same source.
Over 30 violent acts against the Maghreban community in Corsica were registered in Bastia during the first half of 2004.
Recently, The National Council of Moroccans in France (CNMF) urged French authorities to "act immediately" to put an end to racist acts targeting Maghrebans in the island.
