Some 400 Kg of Hashish seized in Tangiers port in 12 days

The Moroccan police has seized in the northern port of Tangiers about 400 kg of Hashish between August 10 and 22. The banned substance was seized in nine search operations that also allowed the arrest of 9 traffickers, including Moroccans, Algerians and a Spaniard.

The largest quantity (107 kg) was found with a Moroccan-born Dutch national.

In the first 10 days of August, two Europe-bound Moroccan nationals were arrested in the same port in possession of 874 kg of cannabis resin.
