al-Dostour: Israel releases one Jordanian detainee

The Jordanian daily al-Dostour said the Israeli authorities released one of the Jordanian detainees in its jails, while the case of other 70 detainees is still under negotiations between the Jordanian and Israeli governments.

The paper said that the " Israeli authorities released the Jordanian detainee Amer al-Raqab ( 22 year old) while Israel used to refuse releasing him after the end of his imprisonment sentence ( five years) since more than two months." The paper added that the Israeli authorities still refuse to release detainees Husam Badou and Suleiman Abu al-La though their imprisonment period has been completed.
