Lahoud was briefed on Water Projects Between Syria and Lebanon

Lebanese President Emile Lahoud and Ayoub Hamid, Lebanon's Minister of Power and Water discussed the joint water projects between Syria and Lebanon, including the water dam due to be established on the mouth of the Southern Big River.

During the meeting, the President was briefed on the preparations for setting up this dam where Syria and Lebanon will share costs of its construction.

Both countries will share the water of the river by 60% to Syria and 40% to Lebanon.
