Algeria: Ali Balhah was detained

Sources at the dissolved " Islamic Front for Salvation " in Algeria said that the Algerian authorities detained yesterday Sheikh Ali Balhah, the second highest ranking man in the front, during his participation in the wedding of the daughter of Sheikh Abdul Wader Hashanni, assassinated earlier.

It is known that releasing Balhah and the leader of the front Sheikh Abbasi Madani was conditioned by not permitting the two men to take part in demonstrations or general gatherings and not to deliver speeches in occasions. Therefore the detention came on the ground that Balhah violated these conditions.
