Attacks on Iraqi Churches condemned by World Islamic Forum and ME cuncil churches

The World Islamic Forum and Council of Middle East Churches vehemently condemned, in a joint statement published yesterday the attacks that targeted a number of churches in Iraq. The statement called on the Iraqi Islamic and Christian citizens to cooperate and deepen dialogue among them to confront all conspiracies that target the Iraqi people's national unity.

The statement was signed by Secretary General of the Council of Middle East Churches Gorgeous Ibraheem Saleh and Chairman of the World Islamic Forum Hamed Bin Ahmad al-Rifai.
