Lebanese circles deplore attacks on churches in Iraq

Lebanese Mufti, Sheikh Muhammad Rashed Kabani Tuesday condemned the attacks on some churches in Iraq. In a statement in Beirut, Kabani said perpetrators of the bombings wanted to target a big number of victims in order to create more confusion in Iraq.

The Higher Council for Chaldean Sect in Lebanon, for its part, said those attacks put Iraq in an unstable situation, adding they aimed at forcing its citizen to leave Iraq.
