Powel to 42 Arab women: We want you to know us better
The US secretary of state Colin Powell yesterday welcomed 42 Arab women visiting the US considering that they constitute the vanguard of democracy in the Middle East.
In a celebration at the US Department Of State, Powell said:" we want you to know much more about us."
The 42 Arab women are from 16 Arab states who came to the US in the course of the " Middle East partnership initiative " at the expense of the American tax payer in order to work in American companies for three months and to attend classes for one month at Duke and Emory universities.
