Turkish- Syrian- relations highlighted
Chairman of the Turkish Party of Development and Justice Dnkir Mir Mohammet Furat stressed the deep-rooted relations between Syria and Turkey, calling for developing them.
In a statement to SANA's correspondent in Ankara, Furat said that President Bashar al-Assad's visit to Turkey contributed to boosting bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
Furat asserted that Syria under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad is progressing day by day, pointing out that Syria is an important country in the Middle East as well as to Turkey.
He stressed importance of exchanged visits to give this relation a momentum.
He also underlined rejection to the American sanctions imposed on Syria, pointing out that this policy doesn't contribute to solving the pending issues among states.
"Washington should realize that dialogue and the diplomatic ways are the only means for resolving the pending issues," he said.
He noted that the Turkish delegation's visit to Syria last week was successful, fruitful and an opportunity to develop relations between the two countries.
