Lahoud confers with American oil delegations

Lebanese President Emil Lahoud on Friday discussed with a delegation representing the US Baker-Boots Co. the stages carried out by the company in oil and gas exploration in the Lebanese territorial waters.

The US. delegation which included James Baker and J. Colb indicated during the meeting that the necessary legal texts are ready for Lebanon to announce bids for oil and gas exploration in the Lebanese territorial waters.
