Arab League highlights EU new enlargement
The Arab League depicted as a historical event the expansion of the European Union to include an additional 10 states.
In a statement Monday, the AL said that expanding the European Union made it closer to the Arab states in a way that increases cooperation opportunities between the Arab states and the EU in the political, economic and commercial domains.
The AL called for enhancing dialogue between the two sides to help the EU to get acquainted with the Arab legitimate issues and viewpoints at the international circles.
"Expanding the EU asserts its success in creating a common base for its members and becomes an example to be followed by other regional gatherings," the statement added.
