Syrian Prime Minister inaugurates new dam project

Under the auspices of President Bashar al-Assad, and in memory of the 58th anniversary of Evacuation Day, Prime Minister Naji Otari inaugurated the April 17 Dam in Ifreen, north of Aleppo.

Ottri was briefed on the project and its economic and social importance.

Then the Prime Minister toured the project that irrigates about 25,000 hectares and supplies water to the inhabitants of the two cities of Izaz and Ifreen that amounts to 10 million meters a year.

The project will contribute to improving the economic and social life of the people in Ifreen.
