Spanish court indicts two Moroccans over participation in Madrid blasts
A Spanish court indicted and sent to jail on Wednesday two Moroccans over collaboration with a terrorist gang, in connection with last March 11 terrorist attacks in the capital city of Madrid.
One of the pair is Abdelilah Fouad who was arrested last Friday in Sebta, a Moroccan northern city under Spanish rule. He had sold the vehicle used to convey the explosive devices used in the attacks by another Moroccan Fouad Ahmidane who was among a group of suspected terrorists who blew themselves up last weekend as police moved in to arrest them.
The other indicted man is Rachid Adli who confessed to contacts with some individuals who were arrested in connection with the investigation on the terrorist attacks.
A total of 27 persons were arrested in connection with the attacks on four commuter trains that left 191 people dead and more than 1,800 injured.
Meanwhile, the Spanish police says it believes that seven suspected terrorists took their lives in the police raid of Saturday, but only four were identified.
