Beirut's Arab Women Forum warps up meeting, final Statement

The Forum of Arab Women and Armed Conflicts on Tuesday condemned the inhuman practices Arab woman is exposed to under the Israeli occupation and Israel's violations of the international norms and conventions.

The forum, ending its three-day activities, called in a final statement for the necessity of distinguishing the legitimate right of resisting occupation from terrorism and the random killing of civilians which is practiced by Israel.

The statement stressed the just and comprehensive peace should be based on UN resolutions and international laws, adding peace will not be achieved unless Israel withdraws from all occupied Arab territories.

It called for the necessity of compelling Israel to remove the apartheid separation wall in the occupied Palestinian territories, and dismantling the mass destruction weapons from the Middle East, on top of which dismantling Israel's weapons arsenal.
