The Democratic Front For the Liberation of Palestine yesterday renewed the call for serious and comprehensive national dialogue.

Member of the front's political bureau, Saleh Zeidan, stressed in a speech during a festival carried out by the front in Gaza on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of its launching the "need to start a serious and comprehensive inter- Palestinian dialogue in order to reach a Palestinian political consensus based on international resolutions," and the "formation of a united national leadership to run the battle with the occupation on the ground of collective participation in national decision making."

Zeidan called for "developing and revitalizing the Arab position, giving priority to the Palestinian, Arab and Israeli conflict and issuing a new decision renewing the commitment of the Arab states to providing all forms of support for the steadfastness of the Palestinians."

For his part, member of the front's political bureau, Jamil al-Majdalwi, called in a speech he delivered in the name of the follow up committee of the national and Islamic forces for the " need of all establishments to democracy and collective participation."
