Syria's Minister of Information confers with clergy on Arab issues

Syria's Minister of Information Ahmad al-Hasan and Chairman of the Anglican National Synods in Syria and Lebanon, Maan Bittar, discussed the role of the Anglican Presbyterian Church in explaining the Arab just issues, and "revealing the dangers of the Zionist entity and exploiting the holy book to serve its interests."

The two sides also stressed the importance of coordination and exchanging viewpoints to invest the US Anglican Presbyterian Church delegation's visit to Syria and its meeting with President Bashar al-Assad to establish religious and cultural dialogue with the West.
