The Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa on Wednesday said the idea of imposing reforms over the Arab and Islamic countries was rejected and unacceptable.

In a statement to the Saudi newspaper "Okaz," Mousa noted that Arab states were moving on the road of development and modernization in a way that would harmonize with Arab peoples values and specialties as well as the Arab identity.

"Arab countries would not accept the dictation of a certain kind of reform, as every Arab nation has its own requirements," Moussa said.

Meanwhile, Sudan Foreign Minster Mustafa Outhman Ismail told the Saudi Al-Wattan daily that the Wider Middle East project presented by the US was mixing many cards and forgetting that there were an occupied state in Iraq and the core Arab issue of Palestine.
