Gumhuriyet: Syrian- Turkish water cooperation

A Turkish water expert, Conor Bamok Cho, said that the rapprochement between Syria and Turkey will lead to solving the problem of water between them.

In an interview given to Turkish Gumhuriyet published Wednesday, Cho underlined that the restart of the Syrian-Turkish Technical Committee's meetings after 13 years will be the first step towards solving the problem of water. He asserted the importance of water as the most important source of political and economic stability in the Middle East.
