Riyadh: armed clashes between police and three suspects

A source in the Saudi Arabian police said that an armed clash took place yesterday evening in one of Riyadh's residential areas, between the security forces and three suspects riding a car, before they fled in another car.

The same source said that the incident took place in al-Nasim quarters, to the east of the capital, when the security forces chased the car of the suspects, after they had refused to stop at one of the security barriers.

The source added that the car of the suspects broke down, and they were obliged to flee by another one they hijacked by force. The police is still trying to find them.
