Eritrea warns against a war with Ethiopia

The foreign minister of Eritrea, Ali Saeed Abdullah, yesterday called on the international community to "convince Ethiopia to give up its rejection to accept the demarcation of the new borders between the two countries in order to avoid the eruption of a new war."

The minister made these statements to press in Djibouti, after his meeting with the President of Djibouti, Ismael Omar Gelle.

These talks fall in the course of a regional tour to be held by Saeed Abdullah to "convince Ethiopia" as he said "to accept the ( independent) border committee decisions, which affiliates to the International Court of Justice in the Hague.
