The Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir gave his directives to the civil and executive services administrations to spare no efforts in order to ensure the success of the coming phase and the after peace phase in Sudan.

In a speech he delivered on the Golden Jubilee of the general secretariat of the Sudanese Cabinet, Bashir said that the coming phase is that of peace which requires more consciences during that phase.

He added that the country will be witnessing a booming phase, where all sufferings and poverty will disappear from the life of citizens. He indicated that peace requires an ability to integrate Sudanese returning back home, recruiting them, settling them, and ensuring generous life to them.

These statements came following the signing of the wealth- sharing agreement between the government and the southern rebels on Wednesday in Kenya's resort of Nivasha.

The US Secretary of State Colin Powell welcomed the agreement and asked the two sides to finalioze peace as soon as possible.

The agreement stated to share southern Sudan oil revenues between the government and the southern rebels, during the transitional period which lasts for 6 years following the signing of a comprehensive peace agreement.

The two sides actually agreed to use the border demarcation mark which was laid in 1956 to make a distinction between the south and the north, and to guarantee the freedom of the flow of commodity and services, capital and labor force inside Sudan.

A bilateral banking system will be drawn so as the system will be Islamic in the north, and ordinary banking system in the south, when a branch for the central bank will be opened.
