Wide condemnation to Israel's decision to expand settlements in the Golan
Many Arab newspapers on Thursday have condemned the Israeli announcement to expand and increase the number of the Jewish settlements in the occupied Golan Heights.
Saudi newspaper ' al-Jazeera ' said that Israel enjoys a military presence in Iraq which ensures it a psychological relief and encourages it to implement its hostile policies and schemes overtly.
The paper pointed out that such hostile steps affect negatively on any movement towards achieving peace.
'Al-Madina and al-Riyadh' papers also condemned the announcement and the Israeli rejection to the international calls to abandon its nuclear arsenal.
For its part, Emirates paper 'al-Khaleej' condemned the continuous Israeli threats against Syria, and the last announcement to expand the Israeli Jewish settlements in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.
The paper underlined that the Israeli rejection to resume peace talks from the point it stopped at, stresses that it doesn't want peace to be achieved in the region.
The papers criticized the Israeli government's violation of the international resolutions, backed by the U.S. which ensures Israel the protection through using the "veto? in the Security Council regarding any resolution relevant to Israel.
