Over 600 kg of hashish seized in tangiers

Police and customs at the port of Tangiers seized Tuesday during a joint operation some 615 kg of hashish that was hidden in a France-registered truck carrying industrial equipment.

The driver, a 37-year-old Frenchman of Yugoslav origin, had loaded the substance in wood boxes containing sculpted plaster.
