Preparation for Mubarak al-Bashir summit

The Sudanese Foreign Ministry announced that preparations are underway for a meeting to be held within a few days between President Hosni Mubarak and Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir with the Ministers of Interior in both states attending.

The Sudanese Foreign Ministry said in a statement yesterday that Egypt intends to invite the Sudanese political powers for a meeting to discuss the reconstruction and development of Southern Sudan and to reinforce unity following the commitment to a final peace accord.
