Two minors get release on probation

The court of appeal of Rabat sentenced on Friday to one year of release on probation two minors sued under the anti-terrorism law.

At the end of the 6-hour closed hearing, one of the minors was cleared of the "criminal association" charge and sentenced to a 1,500 DH ($150) fine.

The two minors have been arrested along with 45 members of the so-called Agadir group. Last week, the court accepted to dissociate their case from that of the group, which is mainly sued for criminal association to plot and carry out terrorist acts, non denunciation and activities within a non authorized organization.
