Arab Social Affairs Ministers concluded meetings in Cairo
At the end of the meetings of the 23rd session of the Arab Ministers of Social Affairs Council, the Council endorsed a project of the Arab Strategy for combating poverty.
The council, which was held at the Arab League headquarters, welcomed the issuance of the international agreement on enhancing the rights of the handicapped, calling for unifying the Arab laws regarding this agreement.
The council also agreed on a project on an promoting an Arab decade for the handicapped between 2004 to 2013, and on supporting the Fund of the social action in the interest of the Arab youth.
