Qatar and the realization of ME peace

Qatar's foreign minister Hamad Bin Jasem Bin Jaber al-Thani said that just, comprehensive peace could be brought to the Middle East through the resolution of Arab-Israeli conflict on the basis of Israeli total withdrawal from all the Arab occupied lands including the Syrian Golan, Lebanese Shebaa Farms and the establishment of a Palestinian Sovereign independent state.

Sheikh Hamad, in a lecture he delivered in Geneva and published in Qatari newspapers Saturday, expressed deep concern over tragic conditions of the Palestinians under Israeli occupation, calling on the international community to pressure Tel Aviv into ending its acts of repression against Palestinians in defianse of UN Charter and international law.
