Morocco's Comanav to be privatized
Morocco's maritime transport company Comanav is among a list of companies to be privatized, communication minister and government spokesman, Nabil Benabdellah, told reporters this Thursday.
The spokesman said the project, presented by privatization and finance minister, Fathallah Oulaalou, provides for the privatization of Comanav. Other companies, such as SNDE (cattle-breeding development company) Sacem (company of mining studies) and BNDE (National bank of economic development) were removed from the list of companies that will be sold to the private sector.
These companies are deemed unfit for privatization for financial, economic, legal and technical considerations, he said.
