Malta's president calls for Israel's implementation of UN resolutions on restoring Arab lands

Malta’s President Guido De Marco has called on Israel to implement the UN Security Council's resolutions No. 242 and 338 which stipulate the Israeli complete withdrawal from all the occupied Arab territories to the line of June 4, 1967, and for the establishment of the Palestinian independent state in order to achieve just and comprehensive peace in the region.

In a lecture in Cairo, President De Marco said that the free trade agreement between the members of the Barcelona Process, to be achieved by 2010, would encourage the economic integration of the Mediterranean region.
