US on Thursday renewed call on citizens to avoid Libya
The US on Thursday renewed its call on the American citizens not to head for Libya despite the September 12 end of UN sanctions on this country.
In a statement, the US Department of State said that Libya and despite the end of the UN sanctions remains "an unstable country," where there are "sectors of the Libyan people and the authority who are hostile to the US."
The statement indicated that despite the lifting of UN sanctions, the American sanctions will continue to be on Libya.
