Syrian- Cypriot oil cooperation

Syria's Oil and Mineral Resources Minister Ibrahim Haddad received on Sunday the former Cypriot Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides (candidate representing Cyprus in EU ) in the presence of Cypriot ambassador to Syria

Talks during the meeting dealt with the cooperation relations between Syria and Cyprus in all fields, particularly in the fields of Gas and petroleum derivatives.

Haddad expressed Syria's keen interest to boost and improve the ties between the two countries in the interest of the two people.

Kasoulides for his part expressed his country's interest to get petroleum derivatives from Syria as soon as possible stressing Cyprus' will to enhance the economic and political relations with Syria.
