Belgian foreign minister visits Israel shortly

Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Louis Michel announced yesterday following a bilateral meeting with his Israeli foreign minister Shalom Silvan that he will be visiting Israel shortly.

Silvan said "I extended an invitation for the Belgian foreign minister to visit Israel and I do think we have to restore back Israel and Belgium's relations to a better way," in remarks to the desire to normalize diplomatic relations between the two countries after two years of tension.
