Kuwait invites Moussa to the GCC summit
Kuwait has extended an invitation to the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa to carry out an official visit to Kuwait, which will be his first since the war against Iraq and the tensions that prevailed relations between the two sides. The invitation is considered as a gesture for reconciliation between the two sides.
A spokesman for the Arab League said that Moussa accepted Kuwait's invitation to attend the summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council GCC member states in January 2004. Arab League spokesman Husam Zaki said that it is the first time in which an Arab League secretary attends a GCC summit.
