Turkey discusses extension of Egyptian gas network from Syria to Europe

Syria's Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Wealth Ibrahim Haddad and his Turkish counterpart signed last week in Damascus a meeting minute for cooperation in extending the Syrian gas network to the Turkish one.

The two sides agreed on cooperation in transferring the gas from the producing countries to Europe via Turkey.

Hadad said the two sides talks focused on extending the Egyptian gas network to Turkey then to Europe as the gas is currently reaching Jordan.
