Morocco's King Mohammed VI received this Thursday a phone call from Libya's Leader of the Revolution Colonel Muammar al Qathafi, who informed the sovereign on his country's action with Algeria to release some Moroccans sequestered in Algeria.
Qathafi told the monarch that following Libya's intercession with Algeria, a number of Moroccans sequestered in Algeria will be released. About 1,000 Moroccans are sequestered by the Algeria-backed Polisario separatists in Tindouf camps, on Algerian territory.
