Lebanese minister says Syria is firm in its position

Lebanon's Information Minister, Michel Samaha has asserted that the US threats and pressure on Syria will not affect her firm stance vis-a-vis different issues in the region.

In a TV interview broadcasted in Beirut on Thursday, Smaha said that Syria will not accept peace with Israel outside of UN resolutions.

He condemned the draft bill submitted by a US member of Congress to settle the Palestinians in their countries' temporal residence underlying that this project is an Israeli one that aims at liquidating the Palestinians' refugees issue.
