Egypt's GDP hit LE 379.7 billion

Investments in Egypt hit LE 68.104 billion in the current fiscal year, said a report to be discussed by the cabinet in its next meeting.

The report said private investments reached LE 35.788 billion whereas public investments stood at LE. 32.315 billion.

Electricity, drinking water, gas sectors received LE 10.580 billion in investments, LE 6.325 billion private projects.

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) hit LE 379.740 billion including LE. 272.800 billion in private sector. The GDP growth amounted to 7.1%, a report said.
