King Mohammed receives Burns

Morocco's King Mohammed VI received in Rabat Monday US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs William Joseph Burns. Burns said after the meeting he "emphasized to his majesty the strong commitment of president George Bush's to our relationship and our partnership with Morocco."

"We talked about a wide range of regional issues and we talked about some specific ways in which the USA wants to strengthen our bilateral partnership, the US official said."
