Powell meets with Mubarak tomorrow in Sharm esh Sheikh

An American official said yesterday that the US Secretary Of State Colin Powell will visit Egypt tomorrow where he will be meeting with President Hosni Mubarak.

The American official added that Powell who is now in Thailand where he is taking part in the works of the economic form, proposed to convene the meeting in Sharm Esh Sheikh where his plane will land for fuel. Powell is due to arrive today in Kenya to support the Sudanese negotiations and from Sharm Esh Sheikh Powell will head for Spain to take part in the conference of the donor states for rebuilding Iraq.

A source close to the Egyptian presidency said that Powell will be meeting with Mubarak in Sharm Esh Sheikh resort tomorrow in a visit which lasts for several hours to Egypt.
