Israel replaces its ambassador in Egypt

The Israeli ambassador to Egypt Jadoun Bin Ami arrived back in Tel Aviv yesterday after he had completed two year term of office and he will be replaced by the Israeli diplomat Elie Shakid, according to the spokesman for the Israeli embassy in Egypt, Israel Tikoshinski.

The spokesman added that Shakid will assume his post as an ambassador for Israel in Cairo by the end of the current month October. Shakid was a consul for Israel in Turkey. He worked earlier in the Israeli embassy in Egypt at the foreign affairs unit at the Israeli foreign ministry.
