Pentagon offers security contracts in Iraq

The US defense department ( Pentagon) announced that the army offered contracts worth 278 million dollars for American companies to protect the American rebuilding employees and the military engineers in Iraq.

The pentagon said that the contracts which were offered on September 26th cover northern, central and southern Iraq. It said that work is expected to be completed according to these contracts by the fall of March 31st, 2004.
