Originally published

A teacher, who threw Monday morning two of her pupils from the 2nd floor of a primary school in Casablanca, was suspended, the school's direction told MAP.

The teacher had thrown the two children out of the window after she had fit of hysterics. One of the two pupils, aged 9, was carried to hospital in a critical state for serious injuries in the head and a fracture in the right hand while the other, 10 years old, suffered only a shock. Students and families of the victims said the teacher had threatened all her students to throw them out of the window if they don't keep quiet.

The teacher was suffering from frequent depressions and had already submitted medical certificates showing her state of health, said the parents who criticize the school administration for keeping the teacher despite her unstable condition.
