The exiled Archbishop of Jerusalem, Hialrion Capucci, on Tuesday said Israel's aggression on the Syrian lands is a violation to the sovereignty of an Arab country and UN resolutions.

In a statement, issued in Rome, the Archbishop stressed that the aggression on Syria clearly proves Israel's hostile and terror nature that it practices in the region in the most ugly forms of injustice and repression and constant defiance of international laws and the UN.

In Tehran Secretary of the Higher Council of Strategic Policies, Hassan Rohani, strongly denounced the Israeli aggression, describing it as a flagrant violation of the international law.

In Cairo the parliament's Arab Committee condemned the aggression, stressing Egypt's full solidarity with Syria in its commitment to the international law and her right to self-defense.

Also the Afro-Asian Solidarity Committee condemned the aggression, saying this heinous act has widely opened the door for uncontrolled aggressions and violations.

In Beirut the Grand Mufti of Lebanon Sheikh Mohammed Rasheed Qabani emphasized that "the aggression on Syria and Lebanon is part of wider Zionist plot against the two countries," saying they would not be intimidated by any Israel threats.
