Oman for reviving recent Arab summit resolutions

Oman's Minister of the Foreign Affairs, Yousef bin Alawi bin Abdullah, has stressed all Arab states desire the realization of peace and their support to all regional and international initiatives and efforts on the basis of Beirut Summit Arab Initiative.

In a statement issued yesterday in Kuwait, he underlined that the Arab initiative became a main base for realizing peace in the Middle East.

He called for supporting the Palestinian people as long as Israel, backed by another countries, rejects peace which became impossible due to the US strategic support to Israel.

Regarding Iraq, Bin Alawi said that in the case of establishment of an elected legitimate authority, there would be no justifications for the US and British troops staying in Iraq.
