Lebanese president calls for solidarity with Syria

Lebanese President Emil Lahoud has stressed that the current situation in the Middle East "requires us to unify and stand in one trench with Syria." During his meeting with Lebanese MPs in Beirut today, Lahoud said that the events have proved that the strategic choice which Syria and Lebanon had adopted, regarding the Arab - Israeli conflict is a proper choice.
