Israel decided to proceed forward in building the isolation wall and the government of Ariel Sharon decided in its weekly session held yesterday the next phase of the wall in the West Bank.

The decision came despite increased international criticism for building the wall which means confiscation of more Palestinian territories and isolating the Palestinians.

This phase of building the wall includes Ariel settlement at a depth of 20 Km inside the West Bank. Israeli sources said that to ease down the American concern over confiscating more Palestinian territories, the government of Sharon decided to leave for some times a gap in the wall near the settlement.

The sources explained that instead of that, a separate fence will be built around the settlement.

In another development, the Israeli occupation forces assassinated Mazin Badawi of the Islamic Jihad movement in Toulkarem camp to the north of the West Bank.

Palestinian medical sources said that other four Palestinians were injured during an incursion for the Israeli forces in the camp.

Meantime, Palestinian security and medical sources said that three Palestinians were injured during an incursion operation carried out yesterday at dawn in Rafah camp to the south of Gaza and demolished 22 houses.

The sources said that the Palestinians were wounded in intensive fire opened by the Israeli soldiers during the incursion operation in this camp near the borders with Egypt.
